You can charge the tilt level in map view. Just use two finger gesture.
Yes I know. My proposal is tilt more. See example from screenshots below. You can see couple of next turn about same zoom level if tilt level is more.
One opinion/change proposal.
The maximum tilt angle of the map could be more, so you could see the route further ahead without having to change the zoom level.

Auto lock when moving: UI lock works
Auto unlock when stopped: UI does not unlock when stop moving (after 5 min still locked). The UI lock cannot be opened on the home screen and app can not close (unlock and app close buttons are missing due to UI lock).
Current now:
Not in charger: Value is -1 mA…0mA (Should be -500…-800mA).
Fast charger connected: Value is first 2mA (should be 1500-2000mA) and then decreases to 0…1mA.
Motorcycle charger: Value is first 1mA and decreasess to 0mA after few seconds (real value should be 400-600mA).
Could the indication values be amps instead of milliamps?

I have installed widgets with an earlier version of DMD2. I updated to beta 2.89 and “original” widgets worked well. If I try to install new widget on the home screen, the widget change options do not open, but DMD2 turns off. I reinstalled the whole beta app and after that I couldn’t install any widgets. DMD2 shuts down every time.

No GPS fix
I use DMD2 in daily riding and a couple of times per week DMD2 does not get GPS fix.
This has happened with previous versions as well.Use case:
Start the DMD2 application and even if I drive 10 km, DMD2 shows “No Fix” and the speed shows zero. ODB2 reading and ADV controller work.If I close DMD2 and restart DMD2 application => no GPS with DMD2
If I close DMD2 and open Google Maps => GPS fix ok immediately with Google Maps. When I close Google Maps and open DMD2 => GPS fix ok immediately with DMD2 also.So, sometimes GPS fix must be applied by opening Google Maps first.

Adventure Controller
If Adventure Controller is connected and I try type navigation address keyboard is missing.
Keyboard can open if I push joystic up and chose F5 from bottom.
If Adv. Controller is not connected the keyboard appears immediately when open type address.
EDIT: Sorry, This is not bug. Found solution from Android setting language / physical keyboard. Enable: Show on screen keyboard
Some information about background power consumption. This has been tested with Beta Version 2.99923. I have the tablet on the bike all the time and screen turns on/off with the motorcycle’s ignition. So DMD2 is in the background all the time.
Setup:
Samsung Galaxy tab active 3 Android 13.Battery charged 100% and charging disconnected. DMD2 in foreground.
MacroDroid script: Charger disconnected => Display off => Tablet screen locked => Bluetooth off, Flight mode (wlan off, mobile data off).The tablet was not used for 3 days and 10 hours.
The Android battery display shows DMD2 active 4 min and background usage 3d10h.
DMD2 power consumption is the highest of all 6.6%
Same set up but DMD2 closed and Google Maps left in the foreground before turning off the screen. Google’s power consumption is less than 1%.10 hour test (Flight mode and Bluetooth off):
DMD2 in the foreground, screen off and locked, the battery drop is about 12%.
DMD2 closed and Google Maps in the foreground, screen off and locked, the battery drop is about 4%.
If you example receive a call and end it, the map will no longer follow where you are moving. Even if you visit the large map view and return back to the home screen, the map does not move along with the drive. You need to restart DMD2 for the small Map view to move.

Feature proposal:
DMD2 GPX track features were very nice in couple of day road trip 😎
“Disable map touch when locked” was very usefull feature during rain with Samsung Active 3.
Unfortunately it can enabled only in Map Screen. In the Home Screen raindrops pushed Bottom Menu buttons. Touch screen lock would be nice feature for every screen due to rain.
So far I made touch screen lock with MacroDroid application. It can be enable by manually from floating button (floating button enabled only when DMD2 is launched and foreground). There is also automatic touch lock feature option when you drive over 60 km/h (speed adjustable).
That kind of feature would be nice in DMD2 and road trip.

Been using DMD2 for some time and it has work ok except that the GPS speed and position sometimes stops working, after killing the app and starting it again it works. But this morning I can’t start DMD2 it keeps crashing and the Android tells me to submit feedback which I have done. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall without any success. Any idea what I can do?
I have same issue.
DMD2 was working fine last night but today it crashes when I try to open it. I have cleared all cache data, reinstalled DMD2, restarted my Samsung Active 3. DMD2 Beta 2.99904 still crashes immediately when trying to open it.
