Yesterday I had a ride with a few crashes after loosing GPS fix a few times, “dmd not responding”a and sometimes I had to set dmd as the HomeApp after it was asking me. Overall it is working well and has really good features. I am on latest version …36 on CI 4b.

Strange, I inserted the Licence Key and after that I also had problems with crash, particularly dmd had problems to be the home app, after that I deleted storage, unistalled dmd and installed again, now I am not able to use the Licence Key anymore, it says “already used by another device”, I am in contact with dmd, have CI pad bought at TR this March……………

Hello

Everytime I leave dmd2 beta on CI to look into another app or the system my OBDlink LX is loosing connectivity to the CI.  If i come back to dmd2 it will connect again automatically. Is this normal?

I am wondering if the OBDLink LX should be visible in Settings, Bluetooth, Paired Devices and also be visible as connected like for example ADVCtrl unit? Mine doesn’t, but it is connected to the CI device, sometimes I have connection problems after stoping my bike, afterwards dmd is not responding. Originally I connected the dongle via OBDLink App for the installation/update of Firmware,  afterwards I disabled connection to this app during the use of it, now I deinstalled this app. It is still working as i told, but do i have to pair it once again directly to the CI device for better reliability?

Hello, I had several times DMD not responding (crash) during my ride yesterday on the french/swiss border. It began with the arrow not moving correctly on the map, after a few minutes dmd2 crashed. If i stopped dmd2 it asked me to set dmd2 as homeapp. GPS fix was always ok. Driving home inside switzerland I had no problems. I had Swiss/French and Alps Maps activated. Does anybody have the same issue and what can be causing this? I have CI pad and dmd2 beta (latest update)

Hi John

BMW F800GS ADV 2013 is working well with cable adapter from BMW pins to OBD and OBDLink LX Dongle, only Oiltemp. is missing. I mention it will also work with never modelyears.

I have OBDLink LX on my 2013 F800GSA since a few weeks, with short connectioncable from BMW Pins to OBD port. It works well, but Oil Temperature and Battey Voltage are not shown or not readable. Coolant Temp., Revs, Throttlepos., and other stuff are shown in the dmd2.
