ParaenduristParticipant
Hallo TiDeCu
Since I updated to 2.99964 I can not use Lawnchair any more it allways crashes. Tried to clean cache and data did not help.ParaenduristParticipantHello John
Since the last update to 64 lawnchair crashes all the time when startedParaenduristParticipantHello John a few weeks ago i made the proposal to load all gpx files deactivated to make the startup process faster. I do that manually after the first loading all the time because it makes the system nuch more agile. But i did not hear anything from you what you think about it. Maybee there are good reasons not to do it.
ParaenduristParticipantHello John
I have now tested my proposed way to load big gpx files. I have tested two gpx files 20 mb data each loaded together on my carpe iter. When all tracks are deakctivated (40 traks with about 14000 km ) the loading lasted 4 seconds. Then you chose the track you need and it is there immediately. Only the poi search needs then some time.ParaenduristParticipantHello John vers 62
The loading of a new gpx file for a journey lets say 5000 km lasts 10 minutes or longer. The search for the pois lasts forever.
Proposal load the file with all tracks deactivated and lead direktly tobthe tracks folder and let me search which track should show up.
When searching for poi first let the code check which maps are concerned and then search only in these maps.
These two measures should make it much faster.
ParaenduristParticipantHello John looks good 57 but when I scroll in the map with loaded tracks it allways reloads the tracks dont know why
ParaenduristParticipantHello John
Would it be possible to have the option to influence the colour and the withof the recorded track . It would be also usefull to have the option to show or hide the track during recording . I would very much appreciate to make the recorded track editable
ParaenduristParticipantTo ad this option would be a great idea. But you should also take into acount how far it is on road or trail to arrive there. I had this problem on tet greece last year my garmin said 20 km but this was on the opposite side of the mountain an it was impossible to get there. I was left without gas and was lucky that somebody picked me up 50 km away from the next reachable gas station
ParaenduristParticipantHello John
There is a question about the automaticaly searched for pois alongside a track. Are these pois measured as a direkt line which meanns the gas station could be on the other side of the mountain or is there a defined distance between track and poi so they are shown in the box or not. Are they around my actual position or allways in direction of the track i am following?
