Hi John, thank’s for your mail! I’m using the Carpe iter pad and the DMD2 App 8not the beta Version) and I didn’t get any error report.

Do I have to use the beta Version instead of the normal app?

Hi, I would like to navigate with the DMD2, but if I go to”enter address”, type Algeciras Heliport, tap on “navigate”, the system askes, if I would like to use DMD2 or another app, I take DMD2. Then the system asks, what kind of streets to use, I take “fastest” and then it shows “calculate route”, but it calculates and calculates but dosn’t com to a result. I’m living in Hamburg. When I take an address e.g. in Cologne, it works (after several minutes of calculation).

I discribed this problem weeks ago, but didn’t got any informations, how to solve the problem.

Hello John, thanks for your email. For example, if I entered Ceuta as the POI, it took some time to find the city and also stated the distance. If I then went to “navigate to the point” and did not select an external app for it but DMD2, then the system calculated for a long time but without any result, or I had to cancel the process because no result was displayed after 15 minutes.

Destinations that are only 10 or 15 km away are found quickly, so if I enter a street name in my place of residence, for example, the system finds it and I can also navigate there via DMD2.
Another question. Can you also save the offline maps on the SD card? Can DMD2 then use it if it works?

Same with my device. I was in Marocco from the 9th till the 21 st of October and had several problems with my position. Now I’m back in Germany and the GPS position shows, that I’m still in Marocco. What can help? thx.

When switching on the DMD2 (Beta Version) I always have a GPS arrow in red “No Fix”. What can I do?
