Hi there, first post, so i hope it is O.K. here

My kids bought me a “JM-ARC: JOYMAP – Pulsantiera per Motociclisti” for christmas. It is the penultimate controller listed here https://www.drivemodedashboard.com/certified-remote-controllers/ . Alas it appears that the buttons are not mapped correctly to use on DMD2. I have tried it on 2 phones and one Samsung Active galaxy 3 tablet. For example Red and blue buttons control the volume, there is no zoom etc.

Has anyone had any experience with this or something similar? Is it a fault with the controller? Otherwise is there is any way to remap the buttons to the correct commands? Or anything else I can do before removing it? The kids chipped in together to get it for their Dad so I am kind of invested in getting it working :).

I got an answer that hopefully can help others. For some reason when I received had no instructions. Apparently the controller can work with many different combinations of hardware and software. It does not require an app to control it. However it must be initiated differently for each combination. To do so there is a key press combination. The combinations are in the instructions or available on request from https://7solid.myshopify.com/products/new-joymap

I hope that is a help for the next user.

Now to go and play with it again 🙂
