    hello

I’m about to order the T-865 and i’m a total noob with regards to electrical wiring.

My idea was to connect the black and red wire directly to the battery and using the green as the switch. (I found a plug that is post-ignition).

But the new holder v2, it says the green wire is disabled. So, how it’s best to wire without having to use a wire-tap connector.

    Do I need a fuse?

    Hello
Dont do that, connect the red and black post ignition instead of directly to Battery.
We are no longer using the green wire you can ignore it.

yes. thats why I want to use a switch/relais. I found a plug on my bike that is post-ignition, but its only suitable to connect a relais. since it doesnt give enough Ampere.

So, what is the best way to get post-ignition without tapping from e.g. front light?
