Hi,

I have been trying to connect a Polaris Sportsman to the OBD view but with no luck. I have a LX Bluetooth dongle as recommended by you but the protocol used by Polaris is J1939 I believe which is a marine and heavy machinery protocol. Is there any chance to get this into the protocol list? It would allow a lot of quads and side by sides the ability to use the system.

Has anyone had any success with Polaris with the OBD?

This is not just a matter of connection protocol, at the moment DMD2 will only be able to translate OBD2 data, if the vehicle is older and uses other standards like OBD1/0 then DMD2 will not be able to read it.
We are indeed pursuing more standards and protocols but its really hard to do implementations like this without having access to the vehicle.
