My Garmin Overlander crashes permanently after updating from 3.00047 to 3.00048. Clearing the cache brings no success. Only clearing the apps memory or reinstalling DMD2 helps, but then (of course) you loose all maps and settings and you need to re-activate your license. I thought I could at least use my last backup from 2 weeks ago, but as soon as I import the backup, DMD2 crashes again. Only a clean install helps. Unfortunately, I have no clue how I can get my saved “My Places” back. Any idea? However, I still like DMD2 very much and just thought this info could be useful for the development. Cheers
Sorry about this. It is fixed in version 3.00050
You should use the backup feature and send the backup to somewhere safe… i usually send my backups to Google Drive… which on a Tread i dont know if there is any good alternative.
