Hello everyone,
I’m new to the world of DMD2. So far I have used the Garmin hiking navigation system “Monterra”. I was looking for a navigation option for everything from small roads to off-road, which could be operated with a controller. So of course I ended up here.
My navigation style is diverse. Of course, I also follow tracks or submissively follow the announcements during point-to-point navigation. But mostly I just drive according to the map and have configured a few sections or waypoints. In heavily populated regions, such as Germany, large roads, railways, etc. help to orientate oneself.
Therefore, one or more customizable map overlays would be nice as a further feature. Streets of a smaller order could be highlighted and streets of a higher order could be visually reduced. Or color the map like a typical street atlas…
