Might not be related but just after installing and testing the the DMD2 app for a minute, my phone had a major crash; it can not boot anymore; black screen, will probably need complete software reset to solve.
Nop, apps cannot cause that. Maybe system apps from the manufacturer could, but not regular apps which are contained and have almost no permissions to do anything.
