I have now tested my proposed way to load big gpx files. I have tested two gpx files 20 mb data each loaded together on my carpe iter. When all tracks are deakctivated (40 traks with about 14000 km ) the loading lasted 4 seconds. Then you chose the track you need and it is there immediately. Only the poi search needs then some time.
