    Hi,

Another thing I noticed. When you are in the gpx manager and want to get take a look on the tracks of an gpx file ( for example to change the color) and click on back… The active gpx file is the uppermost mentioned. Not the one where you look at before. A little confusing if you want to look at the other tracks of the gpx file or change color again. And I like to see the best matched colour for the track, which is a great feature.

Not a big deal, but confusing. ( Some real life experiences 🙂 )

Again, keep up the good work

Hi, yesterday I was following a track. On a certain moment the track progress box including the next waypoint was gone. Toggle the switch in the settings had no effect. This happened to me twice the day, mostly after a quick pauze. Only a restart of the tablet made it work again. Using the latest beta on a a8 tablet ( ajp model)

    Looks like a little bug.

Keep up the good work 👍

    Hi Gary,

Your understanding is correct. But the version on your ajp will be updated by Google store. In the end the tablet is just a normal android tablet with an special license for dmd2 embedded in a waterproof case. Works like a charm especially with a controller..

On the newer models its installed by google store on a 8″tablet from Samsung. DMD2 production version has an extra function in the setting to check the licence for the device. For now I don’t see this option in the current beta.

    Hi John,

I’m still waiting to get DMD2 beta licenced on my AJP 2021 tablet. A few weeks ago you made some kind of expectation that you will implement this on the Beta. Is it still on your list?

    Greeting, Richard

    Hi John,

In the map overlays you have the option of highlighting poi icons on lower zoom levels. You can high light like pubs, camping, restaurants, etc… The option of a gas station is missing. On a trip for me fuel, food and sleep are most important :-). Would be nice to see where gas stations are when seeing an overview of the track for the day.

    Greetings Richard

I also noticed  a double listing of fuel stations in the poi search. ( Looks like it’s solved in v2.93)

In the poi icon highlight screen, I missing the fuel station poi, is it possible to add.

    Dmd 2.92

Could be anything that is similar to a tripltek, there are more manufacturers.  What I can see is that the readability in sunlight looks not that good, so it can also be a cheap alibaba copy. We will see how it holds during her adventure.

But in the context of this forum, she don’t know what she’s missing by not using Dmd2. 😉

    Hi John,

The above example is a complex approach. May I suggest to add a function like rallyblitz at the already existing roadbook function. This would create a widget or overlay witch will act on an co-existing gpx File. Software like rally navigator can make this very easy, see this video as an example.

Good luck and keep up the good work!
