ParticipantThis is for Joao, but anyone who has any idea, please chime in,
Just purchased a Thork Racing DMD2 T865X tablet with the Remote 1 controller. I received them four days ago, noting this was an extremely fast delivery from Portugal to Canada, (where I live). The initial set up went okay, not uneventful, but okay. Nevertheless, I arrived to that point where the basic functions of the tablet worked well and stable, including the Remote 1. I was about to download some other essential apps like Google Drive, (for GPX/PDF file transfers), however I realized that the existing Google Play Store is not “functioning”at all. The app is there, and I can click on it, but displays the following messages on its screen, attached below. During the initial sett up, I did click on all the permission requests, and done all the updates (currently V. 3.00164). I sent a message to Thork Racing on their website about this problem (at that time I couldn’t register/log to this site because of some weird password issues) and I haven’t heard from them yet.
If you have any idea, please let me know, Cheers

I watched all possibly related youtube videos including Joao’s all set up videos, scrolled through and read all sections of this forum here, Googled the Sh+”#$ out of this problem on the internet, but everybody seems fine with the “factory” installed Google Play Store app on the DMD2 T865X. I found other problems but none of them related to not being able to use the Google Play Store “out of the box”. It just seems that “My Administrator” doesn’t allow the app being used.
Any help, or directions would be appreciated, Cheers

Rafael replied to my request for advise and he immediately “hit the nail on the head” suggesting that my Google account was somehow the culprit. So the “Administrator” who locked me out communicating with or logging on to Google via my T865X tablet was possibly my account tied to a company or corporation. I just simply opened up a second Google account, Factory reset my DMD2 T865X tablet and “surprise surprise” everything worked as it should. In less than an hour, I had working Google Play Store, Google drive, access to all Google related apps , GPX/PDF files. Road book reader and downloaded tracks on the map screen also worked.
So I’m super stocked with the help from Thork Racing /DMD team, specifically from Rafael. Special Thanks for him!!!
