ParticipantI have just bought the T865X
I had problems with a maps white screen but thanks to Gary’s advice I deleted all maps and then just downloaded my local map firstThat worked BUT now I keep getting this “Notifications Pop-Up” which says DMD2 requires access to notifications ………….
If I click on OK it takes me to android setting and from there I check and DMD2 has all required permissions and notifications allowed
When I exit android settings the Pop-Up appears again and it just keeps going around in a loop
I am attaching an image of the Pup-Up and I have a video on Dropbox
This pop-up just won’t go away so I can’t use the device
Help please

ParticipantI am having this same issue. I hadn’t used my T865 in a few weeks and when I went to install the handlebar controller it asked to update a few times. When it was done my screen had a blank white map. Using the information I found on here I deleted my cache first. Then I deleted my storage. Then I reinstalled the one map I have from the map downloader. I also deleted and reinstalled the DMD2 software although I was worried it would mess up my “forever” license but that didn’t seem to be an issue I think. I say I think because somewhere in the process of the above work I started getting the same notification above “Notifications Pop-Up DMD2 requires access to notifications…etc”. All notifications are turned on and show that it has ALL permissions.
I could see what seems to be my map visible behind the pop up so maybe the maps are back but the program is now bricked with the pop up dialog box. It has also randomly asked during for me to Update the software to the latest version twice while doing this. So unless there were multiple new versions of the software patch released yesterday in a few hour window its doing something else strange. Any help would be appreciated, this is now over $1k dollars of hardware that is useless with the Notification Pop-Up blocking using the program. Thanks

ParticipantJaxian, I resolved it by powering off and restarting.
You then go into the DMD2 settings (not Android settings) and then scroll down for “Notifications and turn off pop-up permissions altogether
Hope this helps

ParticipantSimilar issues and disabling popups from the DMD2 settings menu didn’t fix it. I posted on the discord and Facebook groups too.
