Key mapper App dont detect remote controller

Help needed,

I’m using T865-X and Remote-2 Controller “Pathfinder” cable connected; everything works fine.

But I’m using also the App “MyRoute-App” at T865-X which is officially not supported, but it works fine. For this App, only the remote controller is not working as expected. In the App MyRoute-App there are several profiles for different remote controller simply selectable. Unfortunatelly there is no profile for DMD Remote-2 controller yet. Therefore I want to use a key mapper to get needed actions from remote controller for the MyRoute-App.

I tried several Android Kee Mapper Apps (as described in internet) – but non of them could detect my remote controller. So, recording of keys wasn’t succesful.

Can somebody explain:

• why keys of DMD Remote-2 controller is not detectable by Kee Mapper Apps?
• how to detect key from DMD Remote-2 controller and remap for other Apps?
• any other Ideas?

If you are using DMD Remote by cable the system does not work like an HID keyboard.
You probably wont be able to use Key Mappers.
For cable connection, the support for our controllers should added by the app developer, preferably using our implementation example:
