I’d rather not use the password when turning on the tablet, but it seems like a necessary inconvenience because all of my phone settings are in it (and personal information).

What are you all doing? Do you use the password and deal with it, or did you set up your unit without all of your phone data?

    I use a device just for navigation, a T865x, no password, ever….

Joao, Sorry to bother you with a Google question, but I can’t seem to find any results that work on the web. Do you know how to easily log out of all Google on the 865?

Seems that every search option tells me to tap buttons that I don’t have.

Perhaps it would be easier to wipe it clean and start over? I don’t actually know how to do that either. Too bad I plugged my phone into the tablet with the USB cord when setting up.

    Thanks!

I just went in to the Google app and clicked Remove Google Account and that seemed to do it. When I want to use Drive, I’ll just sign in.

I just set mine up with a password, went the 6 digit route that was recommended. After a few hours of learning how to get around in the unit, I’m regretting it. I’m trying to figure out how to either reset it with only a 4 digit code or none at all.

I went in and logged out of Google (all of it). That got rid of my password vault.

Then I removed the pin from the 865. So far so good.

When I want to use Google Drive, I’ll just have to log in.
