Got it installed yesterday! I ordered some windscreen spacers so it won’t touch when unlatching & adjusted to the correct view angle. I haven’t ran the wires yet but hopefully will do that in the coming days.

Not sure how I will ever reach the locks w/o taking off the windscreen though. ;|

If the mount is attached to a round bar like my CB500, then snug it down so that it will stay on rough terrain but you can still gently pivot it back to get at the lock.  That’s what I’m doing on my CB

With the screen spacers in place, I use a pair of needle-nose pliers to hold the key & reach in to remove the device. I’ll eventually add an extension to the key – saw other users do this on a FB post.

I guess that’s another way.  I tried that too.  I then also added spacers (1 inch-25mm) for the windshield but it wasn’t enough.  I wanted to be able to pull it off easily in the field/hotel parking lot/restaurant, etc.  It’s easy to pivot it back to get at the key.

Hi Jimmy, what kind of cradle or mounting bracket did you use?

    Used the Iconic Parts mount.

Note—I did have to use screen spacers so the GPS mount/lock (from Thork) didn’t hit the screen. Interestingly enough, it also helped with buffering.

I purchased the Evotech Sat Nav Spacer Kit (to get more space between the GPS and screen), but unfortunately, the screen bolts were not long enough with the spacers, so I had to get older Ducati screws (4 part # 77918092AA), and now things are great.
