ParticipantHelp wanted on DMD2 not recognizing the new Silverfox C1.
This is a repost from the Controller forum. Posted it here as well, maybe the nice DMD2 software people can help:
Just installed the new Silverfox C1 controller via the wired option, Bluetooth off.
The T865X/DMD2 recognizes it as an H1, then the Pan joystick works (although very sluggish).
The other joystick does not work. When tested in Buttons App, it sees it as 3 buttons instead of a joystick.
Latest DMD software is installed. Also the reset function to choose controller 1/2 or controller 3 gives no result.
Is it possible to manually install the C1 ?
The buttons app cannot be reset ?
How to reset the whole system, so I can retry?
The silverfox controllers installed by wire should be Plug and Play, right ?
Also in a Bluetooth connection it is still recognized as an H1…

KeymasterA new firmware for that controller was released by SilverFox you should update and try again.
Also when using wired connection make sure in the buttons app you enable “Use Cable Connection” and make sure the remote is not paired with the device (no BT connection). For me the ideal setup with that remote is basically the same as Remote 1/2:
In DMD2 go to Global Settings > Tap Setup Remote Controller > Press Reset and choose Remote 1/ 2
The only change you probably want to do is in “Advanced” tab where you probably want to disable “Panning Target Mode”DMD2 Project Manager & Lead Developer

ParticipantGoodevening João,
I will buy you that coffee! Anytime!
The update worked , on the reset to 1/2 all seems well, in the wired mode.
The only problem I see is the down push on the zoom joystick. It does the same as zoom-in.
What are my options for programming the down push?
João and Silverfox: Thank you very much indeed for handling this issue within a week.
I am impressed by the T865X, DMD2-NAV and the Silverfox C1 controller !!!
For my usage all are (almost) perfect and leave TomTom and BMW-CRN in the mud….
