The track is of no consequence to the location icon.
When you are riding your location icon shows your position on the map regardless of whatever tracks are bellow it.
So the question is, is your position, while riding, matching the map roads bellow it?

Some apps do “road snapping” or “track snapping” but that sucks and its not something you want when doing offroad or adventure riding.
