Hi Valery,  This is the explanation Raphael/Thork Racing gave me:

”Our DMD Scan M1 scanner uses the standardized OBD-II protocol, as stated on our website. BMW motorcycles, including the R1250GS, employ a proprietary diagnostic protocol on their CAN network that goes beyond the standard OBD-II PIDs. Because DMD2 is designed to communicate using only the OBD-II protocol, it cannot access the proprietary data BMW makes available through its diagnostic port. This is why MotoScan, which supports BMW’s proprietary protocol, is able to retrieve the full range of data, while DMD2 is not.”

It is true that MotoScan displays nearly all diagnostic data.   GS911 displays it also but it seems odd to me that MotoScan connects to my GS ECU through the OBD2 port using M1 or MX+ scanners and displays standard OBD2 data DMD2 allows us to select on their OBD2 display screen.  Just like you claim, speed, RPM, Temps, etc.  This is all standard OBD2 data MotoScan displays when connected to the 1250GS OBD2 port.

My KTM790 has no issues.  It’s not a scanner pairing issue, in fact when I switch from one to the other, I reset, delete pairings and start over to eliminate possible interference.  I use these scanners on different motos/cars/pickup trucks coupled with Android or IOS with no issues.  OBD2 data is available on the GS port, just not being read by DMD2, v3.00195.

Not that it should matter but I checked the software of my GS and it is: S/W Version 023_011_060. Is yours older or newer?
