On any device with screen touch, I’ve found that if my gloves are not well fitting, finger-box slightly too long/bulky etc., the capacitive material in the glove finger makes poor, intermittent contact with my bare finger tip inside the glove.
When buying gloves, I often opt for the next size up when the size below it is too small. Sometimes that means my hands/fingers are in between sizes of some gloves and my fingers don’t quite reach the very end of the gloves fingers and I get poor screen touch performance.
I have, in some cases, sewn in some extra capacitive thread to glove fingers to increase the surface area inside the glove that my finger “does” have contact with.
