Thanks! The more that I investigate I find that DMD2 is GREAT for offroad tracks, and its interface has some really cool features, but both its app, non-existent web route planning app, and documentation are probably 3-4 years behind MRA. Their hardware is superb, but the software for anything other than gpx tracks is FAR behind the competition.
DMD2 app is 3-4 years behind MRA? Says who?
DMD2 was not built to be a routing app, initially we didn’t even wanted to have routing capabilities. DMD2 is an app focused on 2 things:
– Being a dashboard
– Being a GPX following app focused on adventure riding
For your use type, MRA can work better for you just like Google Maps, for example, works better for me in terms of road navigation.
But for adventure riding, following my GPX files, there is not one single thing on Google Maps or MRA that i would want to use while riding.
Thats just how it is, each app has its focus, thats fine, we do not intend to have the best everything app. Our focus is not planning, our focus is not road riding, our focus is adventure riding, with everything in the app being developed to be used while riding, not planning, not at home, but while riding.
