
I’ve had the same thing happen, from first install. Power inconsistency and flakey Remote 2 operation. Thought it was my load center causing it. I disconnected the connector feeding the mount pogo pins, opting for the screw on connector port on the tablets back to power the tablet. Tablet and Remote function properly now.
I wasn’t surprised that there was a problem with the pogo pin interface of the mount, as I’d experienced problems with such interfaces before. That interface appears to have 3 different size/diameter pogo pins in the strip. The smaller pins don’t extend as high as the larger pins. You can visibly see that.
I thought about trying to get a replacement from Thork, but as far as I know, a replacement would be the same design and susceptible to the same problem. I’m just glad they engineered it to be able to get power from the back port.
