There’s a Manual? I didn’t receive one in my package. I’ve been trying to learn this tablet from videos and other info wherever I can find it. Excluding Facebook and platforms like that.

Sorry for the confusion. Poorly worded I guess. I wasn’t going to connect the Remote 2 to the tablet directly without asking first. The Tablet being able to take 12v from both the mount pins and the rear port, I wondered if the rear port also had a 12v out pin that would power the Remote directly. I hadn’t started installation on the bike yet but figured it didn’t hurt to ask. Hopefully, the Manual instructs NOT to do this.

I hadn’t gotten a response by the time I had figured out routing for the harness, decided where and how to connect it to bike power and had the Remote installed on the handlebars. So I did connect the remote to the 3 way splitter.

I’d read that connecting the 3rd leg of the splitter to the back of the tablet was optional, so I did not.

From what I understand, it’s the Buttons app that runs the Controller. I don’t remember getting a popup for Controller Accessibility on startup. But then, there was a lot of stuff popping up on screen at the same time, notifications and such, wanting updates and such. Was a little overwhelming. Had to clear them before messing with the Controller. The videos I’ve seen mention an Accessibility Service that has to be enabled for the Controller. Can’t remember where I found it in Settings, but it was set to ON.

Wondering if there’s any other settings that need to be enabled for the Controller to work properly. I had 3 days before I started install of the tablet on the bike to try to get familiar with it’s layout, the 2 settings menus and how to generally get around in it. Wondering if I disabled something I shouldn’t have. I the last 3 days, I’ve been all thru the 2 Setting menus denying permissions and access to apps and functions I will never use.

Is there a way to reset the 865X tablet back to factory condition as if it just came out of the box?

I’m going to try disconnecting the cable for the cradle/pins and power the tablet from the back port.

A few other questions I haven’t found answers to:
The red charging light in the lower left corner lights up when charging via USB. Is it also supposed to light up when on 12v bike power?

What’s are the 2 lenses just along the left side of the tablet? I’m guessing one is the camera lens, the other a light sensor?

Thanks.
