It should work indeed.
In DMD2 app – OBD Settings – Select the DMD M1 dongle and that is it. No further change should be required.
The only common reasons for OBD dongles not to work is if there is another OBD device connected in the system at the same time or if there is another device (phone or tablet) using the dongle at the same time.
