
Nope, no need to install the app on the other unit as I understand it. It is built-into the DMD2 nav software. Were you able to find that “enable notifications” entry in the settings? If you have it connected correctly, start the DMD2 nav app on the Doogee first, let it boot up and load, then open the DMDHub on your Samsung, if it connects correctly, you should get an acknowledgement on the Doogee, something like “connected to xxxxx”. If you don’t get that, try manually connecting to it via the bluetooth menu on each device, see if they are connected via bluetooth. If not, try forcing it to connect if you can see the other device in the bt menu.
If it IS connected and you get the message above, you should be able to have your samsung pass notifications over to the doogee device. If not, you’ll need to look into the various apps on the samsung’s list within the DMDHub menu. I’d say try to turn everything on, then test with a txt message, a phone call and whatever else you would like to see pop up on the doogee. If it does not, then there’s something wrong and you’ll have to hit Joao or John @ Thork up on the issue.
