Yep, definitely need to allow all notifications on the sending side. What phone are you using to send to the dmd2 device? You’ll need to also go through and select the apps you want notifications to pass over to the dmd2 device.
Also, if you’re not using a dmd2 device but just the dmd2 app on another phone, I believe you also have to allow that to receive notifications like G Heath Neely said. You’ll also need to turn that feature on in the settings of dmd2. Hit the settings gear in the dmd2 app, and towards the bottom of the settings and make sure you have “enable notifications pop-up turned on, it should then ask you to allow permission for notifications if you haven’t already done so.
