And to  close this thread about the NotifMate app, since there’s now the official DMD2 Hub app that should take its place, I’ve found a workaround on the caller id issue above (which also affects the DMD Hub app in the same way). You cannot use your official phone app to get the push notifications properly, you have to use a non-native app such as CallApp or Truecaller. I’ve tested both and they work correctly, giving me full caller id info when someone calls my phone.

And, as a sidenote, its a bit ridiculous to have 3 places to post stuff for the DMD2 app. Facebook, Discord and this site, all to do the same thing, process issue and discuss new features. I’ve had only one reply from all three platforms from Thork/DMD, so I think I’ll just stop bothering them to try to 1, help them get the DMD2 app to work with native phone apk files, and 2, try to get any replies from them. I’ve tried to help and did a bunch of testing and reading on my own time to help the guys out, but I guess its just not important enough to find a solution to the issue. And, if you do have the issue of no actual data other than “incoming call” when you get a push message, try using those alternate apps for dialing from your phone, set that as the place for data from within the DMD Hub app (and turn off your other oem phone apps from sending info to your device) and it should work fine.
