That means the map is in panning mode, you can turn off the remote funtionality in the settings on the map view (cogwheel).
Conecting several remotes at once causes issues for me as well, you have to disconnect the dmd1 if you want to use the remotek One properly in my experience.
Try connecting the correct remote and selecting it in the menu to make sure its identified correctly.
