When you say you “installed” the app several times, what do you mean by this? Are you installing DMD2 from the Play Store?
You need to use the version included on the device.
Make sure the device is updated to the latest version: https://www.drivemodedashboard.com/support/faqs/?Display_FAQ=9025
And lock the device rotation on the settings, screen lock is explained here: https://www.drivemodedashboard.com/getting-started/
If the app is actually crashing, and the device is connected to the internet we will get crash logs and we will be able to fix it.
If you are using SD Cards make sure the SD Card is formatted as removable storage and NOT as Expanded Internal Memory.
